Taraṅga an LDC-IL application extracts detailed metadata from the header of each WAV file, including sample rate, bit depth, number of channels, and audio format. It also provides information on the file size, duration, and bit rate. It can recursively process multiple directories, allowing for the analysis of numerous files in one operation.

• Calculates and displays the total duration of all processed WAV files.
• Sums up the total size of all WAV files analyzed.
• Export the report to a spreadsheet.

Taraṅga can be used by those who are working on natural language processing and speech technologies to know the corpus size and duration.
